Superiors:
Alpha Male: This is the male leader of the pack and the most dominant wolf. This wolf usually leads all the activities in the pack and is allowed to mate freely. The Alpha is usually paired with the Alphess as a mate, but is not always.
Alpha Female: This is the female leader of the pack and most dominant she wolf. She is allowed to mate freely and usually leads the activites of the pack. The Alphess is usually paired with the Alpha as a mate, but is not always.
Beta Male This is the second male in command. He assists the Alpha/Alphess and is in charge of the pack when the alphas are not around. He will take the Alpha position when the current Alpha dies or retires.
Beta Female: This is the second female in command. She assists the Alpha/Alphess and is in charge of the pack when the alphas are not around. She will take the Alphess position when the current Alphess dies or retires.
Delta Male: This male is an Alpha/Beta in training. He learns the art of dominance and all he will need to run the pack. These males are usually the sons of the Alphas and assist them until its time for them to take over.
Delta Female: This female is and Alphess/Betass in training. She learns the art of dominance and all she will need to run the pack. These females are usually the daughters of the Alphas and assist them until it's time for them to take over.
Medicine Wolf: This wolf is the healer of the pack. He/she has strong knowledge in herbal works and treats the pack whenever it is neccissary. They have a strong relationship with each individual level so that they can learn there emotional and physical strength. This makes it so that when something is wrong, they can find out easier.
Medicine Wolf Apprentice: A medicine wolf in training. This wolf is the Medicine Wolf's shadow and will take over when he/she dies or retires.
Subordinates:
Adversaries: These are the two strongest and most experianced wolves in the pack. These wolves will lead most of the patrols and hunts if there isn't a current lead in the rank. They also mentor the other wolves or apprentices in what they are lacking for their required ranks.
Convoy: These wolves patrol the borders and carry messages between the two packs. They also warn the pack and alphas if there is trouble on the borders and escort rogues to the alphas.
Warrior: Admired for their strength and skills, these wolves fight to protect the pack from rogues and other predators that could harm the pack.
Hunter: The most skilled hunters in the pack. They provide food and make sure that the pack is well fed.
Guardians: The guardians are the protectors of the newborn pups. They watch over the pups when they are done drinking milk so that the mother can get back to her ranks duties.
Apprentices: These wolves are under a year old and are training for the ranks they will take up when they are old enough. Usually they will shadow a confident member of that rank to learn from. "A mentor" will be provided for each apprentice.
Pups: The newborns of the pack. When they are 6 months old they become apprentices and start their training.
Elders: The oldest wolves in the pack who are unable to continue daily tasks. Younger wolves provide for them and care for them.
Omegas: These are the weaklings of the pack. They usually get picked on or made of by the higher ranked wolves. Though they are required for a pack to relieve stress and provide a type of playtime.
